 Welcome to acadiareaders.com.

I came to Maine for the first time in 1944.  I was six months old and I came on vacation to this magical place that many call "Acadia."  It was almost thirty-five years later that  I decided to come here for good. I am glad that I made the choice.

I know there are many people who want to know about Maine, about Acadia National Park, and about the magical place on the earth called Downeast Maine.   This website will bring to everyone ideas, articles, pictures, information and adventures from this special place.

But this is more than just a vacationland information site.  As a writer, I like to explore many different ideas and many will appear here at Acadiareaders.  While I hope you find it all entertaining, I also hope to excite your curiosity, and will welcome any and all comments later on.    (I may not be able to answer each and every comment, but I surely will be pleased to read them all - the good and the bad. Afterall, without feedback, what are we?  Just electrons?)

This site will change and grow.  I hope you will check in frequently.  Soon I will offer a subscription to my newsletter. After you subscribe you will automatically be informed when there is new excitement here at Acadiareaders.
